‘The
Ropewalker’s Flight’, Two
channel video, C.R.T TV, Bamboo Bow, Metal Stand, 2014 –
Repurposing found footage
and trying to find sculptural / spatial extensions, this installation comprises
of a two-channel video with the inverted video of a ropewalker doing the
balancing act on the T.V monitor almost pushing the physical frame of the
monitor and a video of a hand pulling a bowstring on a bamboo bow. It was an
attempt to create an image of delicate balance of an impending rupture.
